Why?

Wandering through this world, wondering where I'm going;
Look upon the world, a warrior so weary.
In my stubborn life, I'm searching for an angel.
In life's stubborn way, before me flies an angel.
We came from different worlds;
hers' was pain and innocence.
Look upon my world, of rage and anger;
Madness!!!

In my desperate way, I feel I need to love her,
Just to make her safe; to take her from the Madness.
Oh, and she looks at me...Ohhh, and she's asking me,
"Why do creatures feel pain?", "Why would we go to war again?",
"I think that lonely person needs a friend",
and off she goes, a soul to mend.

"How do helicopters fly?", "Where does a soldier go to cry?",
"Why do Daddies have to die?"
You know, it makes me want to cry.

And then my baby starts to cry.
I want so bad to tell her why; but I don't know why.
