I Kiss the Earth
I kiss the earth, my Mother;
Embrace my Father, sky;
They gave me warmth and loving,
I never wondered why;
In a dream I'm having,
I see a time come soon;
when all that's known in reason,
no longer rhymes or tunes...
Oooh, I wanna try -
to sing to the world a little lullaby;
Oh! Tragedy!
We spilled our oil into the sea;
"Well that's bad...cause that's the
only
sea we had..."
The Penguin said.
In our rain, lies acid;
Toxic waste all around.
Above us snow...the icecaps,
they melt without a sound.
In the name of money...rip holes into
the sky.
The thunder roars his death scream;
The earth, she softly cries.
Oooh, I wanna try -
to sing to the world a little lullaby;
Oh! Misery!
We chopped down our very last tree;
"Well that's bad...cause them's
the only woods we had..."
The Penguin said.
Oooh, I wanna try -
to sing to the world a little lullaby;
Oh! Woe is me!
The World is F*#@%'d, for eternity;
"Well that's bad...cause this is the
only
one we have",
My Nephew said.
